Amir Husin Loebis (1899–1983) was an Indonesian actor.
Amir Husin Loebis was born in 1899 in Kotanopan, a district in Mandailing Natal Regency, North Sumatra.[1] He was educated at the Normal School until the third grade.[1] Before working in the film industry, Lubis was working as a trader, such as food trader, goat skins, shoes, meat and flea books trader.[1] He also worked as a sado puller and foreman and had experience as a theater and opera performer [1]
In 1950, Lubis made his film debut by starred in Rakyat Memilih as an extra.[1] He then starred in several films, such as Dibalik Dinding (1955), Si Buta Dari Gua Hantu (1970), Nafsu Gila (1974), Syahdu (1975), Pembalasan Si Pitung (1977), Bandot Tua (1978) and etc.[1]
As of 1979, Lubis was residing at Mangga Besar Dalam XII Rt. 007/03 No. 11 Street in Jakarta.[1] He died in 1983 at the age of 84.[2]
