History
On 30 November 2002 on the high seas off the coast of Vizhinjam. Mock attack drill was being staged such as Khanjar was targeting INS Jamuna, a hydrographic survey vessel carrying media persons and VIPs, including Air Vice Marshal R. D. Limaye of the Southern Air Command. This was part of the Navy Week celebrations.[2]
Khanjar along with INS Kora was on a visit to Kolkata between 28 and 30 November 2025 as part of the Navy Week celebrations. The ships were open for public visitors.[3][4]She also participated at the International Fleet Review 2026 held at Visakapatanam.[5]
