Iago Bento Fernandes (born 15 January 1999) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Cambodian Premier League[1][2] club Boeung Ket.
At youth level, Iago was a left-back and joined Atlético Mineiro youth in 2013. In 2016, he won the Campeonato Mineiro Sub-17[3] and in 2017 he won the Torneio de Terborg.[4] He joined Coritiba youth in 2018.
Career
Iago started his professional football career in 2021 after joining Cambodian Premier League club, Angkor Tiger after leaving Coritiba youth in his home country.[5]
Iago joined Svay Rieng in 2023[6][7][8] where he won double trophies with the club both local league and domestic up during 2023–24 season. He left the club at the end of 2023–24 season.[9]
After successful 2023–24 season, Iago joined another Cambodian side Boeung Ket in 2024.
