Ian Slater is a former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s. He played at club level for Huddersfield, Featherstone Rovers, and Bradford Northern, as a stand-off.[1]

Club career
Slater was signed by Huddersfield from Leeds in September 1979 for a club record fee of £10,000.[3]
Slater made his début for Featherstone Rovers on Friday 9 March 1984.[4]
