Ibrokhimov began his senior club career with Bunyodkor in 2020. He moved to Metallurg Bekabad in July 2021 and to Olympic Tashkent in July 2023. In July 2024 he joined Pakhtakor.[5] He has appeared for Pakhtakor in the Uzbekistan Super League and the AFC Champions League Elite.[2]

International career

Ibrokhimov was part of the Uzbekistan under-23 side that finished as runner-up at the 2022 AFC U-23 Asian Cup. He missed the semi-final against Japan because of an injury.[5][6]

At the 2022 Asian Games, held in 2023, he appeared in five matches.[5] Before Uzbekistan's round-of-16 match against Indonesia, CNN Indonesia identified him as one of Uzbekistan's principal midfield players and noted his role in starting attacks with short passing combinations.[7] He played in the bronze-medal match against Hong Kong, in which Uzbekistan won 4–0; Hong Kong goalkeeper Tse Ka-wing saved one of his first-half free kicks.[4]

He was selected for the 2024 AFC U-23 Asian Cup and entered the final as an 85th-minute substitute. Uzbekistan lost the final 1–0 to Japan and finished as runner-up, having already qualified for the country's first Olympic football tournament.[1][8][9]

Ibrokhimov was named in Uzbekistan's squad for the 2024 Olympic tournament in Paris.[10] He appeared in all three group matches, starting the 1–1 draw with the Dominican Republic. Uzbekistan finished fourth in its group and was eliminated.[3][2]
