Gameplay

The game allows the player to take control of Manny, Sid, Buck, Scrat, Scratte, and Diego as they take on or run away from dangerous dinosaurs, roll eggs to safety, pursue their beloved acorn, and explore caves and jungles.[4][5][6]

Reception

The iOS and Wii versions received "generally favorable reviews", while the rest of the other versions received "mixed or average reviews" according to the review aggregation website Metacritic.[7][8][9][10][11][12][13]

GameSpot said of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions, "Ice Age may be kid-friendly, funny, and faithful to the movie, but it's also repetitive and over too quickly."[4]
