Ignacio Vázquez Torres[a] (13 August 1939 – 21 September 2023) was a Mexican lawyer and politician. A long-time member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) – which he represented in both chambers of Congress and for which he fought and lost the 1995 gubernatorial election in Guanajuato – he resigned from the party in 2006.
