Iheanacho Nwogu ⓘ is a Nigerian politician who serves as a member of the Abia State House of Assembly representing Osisioma North State Constituency.[1][2][3][4]
Young Progressives Party (2023–2024)
He was elected to the 8th Abia State House of Assembly in 2023 under the Young Progressives Party (YPP) before later defecting to the Labour Party (LP).[5][6]
Political career
Iheanacho Nwogu was elected to represent Osisioma North State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly in the 2023 Abia State House of Assembly election on the platform of the Young Progressives Party (YPP).
He became a member of the 8th Abia State House of Assembly following his inauguration in June 2023.
In May 2024, Nwogu defected from the YPP to the Labour Party (LP), stating that the move was to align with the state government and strengthen representation for his constituents.
As a member of the House of Assembly, Nwogu has participated in legislative activities and constituency representation for Osisioma North State Constituency.[7][8][9]
