Ilias Kementzides (April 2, 1926 - November 11, 2006) was an American musician of Pontian Greek descent. He both played and sang Pontian Greek folk music. His main instrument was the lyra, which is a type of kemenche.[1][2][3] In 1989, he received the National Heritage Fellowship for his folk music career.[4]
