Ilmar Tamm (born 4 May 1972) is an Estonian Major General^[1][2] and has served as the commander of the Estonian Defence League since 2023.^[3]

In 1994, he graduated from the Finnish Military Academy.^[4]

From 2008–2012, he was the head of Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence. From 2020–2023, he was the head of Baltic Defence College.^[4]

In 2004, he was awarded Order of the Cross of the Eagle, V Class.^[2]
