India competed at the 2008 Asian Beach Games held in Bali, Indonesia from October 18, 2008 to October 26, 2008. India finished with 3 gold medals and 2 bronze medals.
India won gold in the men's kabaddi event in 2008.[1] The Indian women also won the gold in the kabaddi event.[2] The Indian boys basketball team won the gold defeating Philippines in the inaugural Asian Beach Games held in Bali.[3]
