The institute runs a library, which has manuscripts of Cyprian Kamil Norwid, Eliza Orzeszkowa, Maria Konopnicka, Jan Kasprowicz, Witold Gombrowicz and Czesław Miłosz,[5] and an archive.[6]

The Department of Contemporary Literature Documentation of the institute issued an online biographical dictionary, Polscy pisarze i badacze literatury XX i XXI wieku.[7]
