International Star is a retired[2] American Thoroughbred racehorse. He accumulated 171 points for the 2015 Road to the Kentucky Derby which is the most points ever for non-extended series events accumulated in the series. He had won the Grey Stakes (10 points),[3] Lecomte Stakes (10 points),[4] Risen Star Stakes (50 points),[5] and Louisiana Derby (100 points).[6] He also had a fourth place finish in the Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes (1 point).[7] Despite this, he was scratched from the Kentucky Derby.[8]
