Irdyn (Ukrainian: Ірдинь) is a rural settlement in Cherkasy Raion, Cherkasy Oblast, central Ukraine. Population: 727 (2022 estimate).[1]

The settlement belongs to Bilozirya rural hromada, with the administration in the selo of Bilozirya.[2]
History
Urban-type settlement was founded in 1930.
Until 26 January 2024, Irdyn was designated urban-type settlement. On this day, a new law entered into force which abolished this status, and Irdyn became a rural settlement.[3]
Population
In January 1989, the population was 1357 people.[4]
In January 2013, the population was 865 people.[5]
