Irena Justine (15 June 1993 – 26 May 2016) was an Indonesian actress who was best known for her role as Flora Cantika in soap opera Nada Cinta.

Justine was born on 15 June 1993 in Bandung, West Java, to Wawan E. and Neni Justine.[1][2] She had an older sister, Diana, who was living in Singapore.[2][3]

Personal life

Justine was married to Bryan McKenzie in 2012, they had a son, Arjuna Keith Al-Ghifary, who was two years old in January 2014 and later divorced in 2015.[4][5] She was in a relationship with Alberto Machesi until her death in May 2016, and was planned to married him in October.[5]

Career

Justine started her career by starring in Cinta Fitri 2 (2008), she later starred in few television movies and soap opera.[1] In 2011, Justine starred as Flora Cantika in Nada Cinta, a soap opera that tells about modern teenagers and the conflicts they experienced.[6]

Death

Justine suffered a fall on the set of Sakinah Bersamamu (2015) when she shoot a fight scene with Dude Herlino and Alyssa Soebandono.[1]

On 25 May 2016, she collapsed while appearing in reality show, Baper, which was shot at RCTI studio.[1] She was rushed to Siloam Hospital in Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta, and died the next day from a heart attack at the age of 22.[1] She was buried in Bandung, West Java, on 27 May.[7] [8] [9]
