Irunda is a rural settlement in the Yagba East Local Government Area of Kogi State, Nigeria. It forms part of the Okun-speaking area in north-central Nigeria and is listed among the villages in Yagba East.
Irunda is situated north of the Isanlu axis within a tropical savanna zone. The landscape features low hills, woodland patches, and seasonal streams typical of the Yagba plateau.
Economy
Residents engage mainly in subsistence and small-scale farming. Major crops include yams, cassava, maize, sorghum, and cashew, alongside oil palm produce. Livestock rearing, particularly goats and poultry, supplements agricultural income.
