Isopropyl palmitate

Isopropyl palmitate is the ester of isopropyl alcohol and palmitic acid.[2] It is an emollient, moisturizer, thickening agent, and anti-static agent.[3][4] The chemical formula is CH3(CH2)14COOCH(CH3)2. It is frequently used in the food industry[5], and is not considered to be harmful to humans [6].
