Ivana Chubbuck

Ivana Chubbuck is an American acting coach and creator of the Chubbuck technique. She heads a drama school in Los Angeles and hosts acting workshops worldwide.[1][2]
Chubbuck originally worked as an actress before becoming an acting coach.[3] Some of her notable clients include David Boreanaz,[4] Halle Berry,[5] Aubrey Plaza,[6] Eva Mendes,[7] Sylvester Stallone,[8] Judith Light,[9] Brad Pitt,[10] Sharon Stone,[5] Charlize Theron,[11] Pamela Anderson,[12] Travis Fimmel,[13] and Jon Voight.[5]
She is the author of The Power of the Actor,[14][10] a 2004 book that has been translated into 20 languages.[citation needed][15][16]
Personal life
Chubbuck was married to Lyndon Chubbuck, director of The War Bride (2001) and The Right Temptation (2000), until his death in 2021. She has a daughter named Claire.[17]
