History
JLCPCB was founded in Hong Kong in 2006.
During the 2025 China–United States trade war, high import tariffs on Chinese goods led some American customers to seek domestic alternatives such as OSH Park or DigiKey's DKRed service.[3]
Products and services
In addition to PCB manufacturing and assembly, JLCPCB offers 3D printing and CNC machining services, sheet metal frabrication, and a mechatronic parts catalog.
JLCPCB is tightly integrated with sister companies EasyEDA[4], which provides electronic design automation (EDA) software, and LCSC[citation needed], an electronic components distributor. Users are encouraged to design their PCBs with EasyEDA using components selected from an integrated LCSC component library and have their designs manufactured (and optionally assembled) by JLCPCB.[5]
