Jack Moylan (born 1 September 2001) is an Irish footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or forward for EFL League One club Lincoln City. He started his career with Bohemians, but after a loan move at Wexford, he signed for Shelbourne.
Bohemians
Moylan signed for Bohemians senior team on 1 January 2021, previously from the club's under 19 team. His first game for the senior team came in a 2–0 defeat against Finn Harps in October 2020.[3]
Wexford loan
On 1 July 2021, Moylan was sent on loan to Wexford FC, where he stayed for the rest of the season. He scored 8 goals in 17 appearances. His first appearance came in a 4-4 draw with Athlone Town.[4]
Shelbourne
On 1 January 2022, Moylan signed for Shelbourne as an attacking midfielder and a striker.[5] On 13 May 2023, Moylan scored the first hat-trick of his career in a 3–0 win against Sligo Rovers.[6] His goals came in the 9th, 41st, and a penalty in the 66th minute.[7] He was named League of Ireland Player of the Month for October 2023, his last month with the club, having scored 5 goals in his final 2 games to take him up to 15 league goals for the season, the joint most in the league along with Jonathan Afolabi.[8] At the end of the season he was named in the PFAI Team of the Year as voted by his fellow professionals in the league.[9]
Lincoln City
On 4 September 2023, it was announced that Moylan had signed a pre-contract agreement with EFL League One side Lincoln City, with the contract effective from 1 January 2024.[10][11] On 13 January 2024, he made his debut coming off the bench in the 1–1 draw against Wycombe Wanderers.[12] His first goals for Lincoln came against Barnsley on 9 March 2024, netting a brace, of which the first was nominated for EFL League One Goal of the Month.[13][14] He injured his ankle in the game against Harrogate Town in August 2025 and was ruled out of action for 3 months after surgery.[15][16] After returning back to the squad, he was nominated for Player of the Month for January 2026, after helping drive Lincoln's promotion push, with four goals.[17] On 13 March 2026, Moylan signed a three-year extenstion to his Lincoln City deal, which would keep him at the club until the summer of 2030.[18] After winning promotion from League One in the 2025–26 season, he was named in the EFL League One Team of the Season alongside teammates, Tendayi Darikwa, Sonny Bradley and George Wickens as well as being nominated for League One player of the season, alongside team mate Sonny Bradley, Dom Ballard and Owen Bailey.[19].[20]
