James Alexander Park (1854 – 1928) was a New Zealand businessman and local politician who served as Mayor of Dunedin from 1902 to 1903.

Park was born in 1854 in Edinburgh, Scotland, he spent part of his early life in Tasmania before moving to Dunedin in 1863.[1][2]

Business career

He worked as an auctioneer and estate agent in Dunedin where he was associated with established firms and active in the city's commercial life.[1]
