James Walton (MP for Don Valley)

James Walton (7 September 1867 – 26 January 1924)[1] was a British miner, trade unionist[2] and politician who served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Don Valley in Yorkshire from 1918 to 1922.

He was educated at Broomhill Board Schools. In 1889 he married the daughter of William Jackson. [3]
