Jamila E. Taylor (born December 9, 1975) is an American attorney, activist, and politician who is a representative for District 30 in the Washington House of Representatives. Elected in 2020, she assumed office on January 11, 2021.[1]
Jamila Taylor was born on December 9, 1975.[2][3] She is the only daughter of historian Quintard Taylor Jr. and his wife Carolyn.[4] Taylor has two brothers including a twin brother.[4] Taylor earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Virginia State University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Oregon School of Law.[5]
