Jammapur is a village in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district of Telangana, India. It falls under Bhongir mandal.[1] It is located 52 kilometres (32 mi) from the state capital at Hyderabad.
Gemmapuram (often locally called Jammapur) was originally named Gemmapur by an Italian priest in remembrance of Saint Gemma Galgani. It is a village with a deeply rooted Roman Catholic faith, with nearly all of its residents belonging to the Roman Catholic community.
