Janet E. Jackson

Jackson graduated from Wittenberg University^[1] and George Washington University Law School.^[2]

Jackson was the first woman to serve as Franklin County Municipal Court judge^[3][4] and the first woman^[5][6] and first African-American^[2] as Columbus city attorney.^[7] She was president of United Way of Central Ohio.^[5] She chaired the Columbus Civilian Police Review Board.^[8][9][10]
