Janiszewice [janiʂɛˈvit͡sɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Zduńska Wola, within Zduńska Wola County, Łódź Voivodeship, in central Poland.[1] It lies approximately 3 km (2 mi) north-west of Zduńska Wola and 41 km (25 mi) south-west of the regional capital Łódź.
During the German occupation of Poland (World War II), the German administration operated a Nazi prison in Janiszewice that was subordinate to the prison in Sieradz.[2]
