Janov is a municipality and village in Svitavy District in the Pardubice Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,000 inhabitants.
Janov lies approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) north-west of Svitavy, 49 km (30 mi) south-east of Pardubice, and 144 km (89 mi) east of Prague.
