Janusz Zarzycki, aka Wojtek (born April 15, 1914 in Pruszków, died February 15, 1995 in Warsaw) was a Polish architect and communist politician, Major General of the Polish People's Army who served in various positions in the Polish People's Republic such as head of the Main Political Board of the Polish Army [pl], chairman of the Union of Youth Struggle and the Union of Polish Youth, president of the Union of Fighters for Freedom and Democracy, chairman of the presidium of the Warsaw City National Council, deputy minister of national defense, and member of the Sejm of the Polish People's Republic Second, Third, and Fourth term. He received the title Righteous Among the Nations.
