Jaya Raj Acharya

Professor Jaya Raj Acharya (or Jayaraj Acharya) is a former ambassador of Nepal to the United Nations from 1991 to 1994, a scholar, author and lecturer at Tribhuvan University.[1][2] He is a prominent foreign policy expert especially in Nepal's relations with India and China.[3] He's raised awareness of Nepal's education, state of Nepali politics etc. in international forums.[4][5] He's done numerous TV appearances in the Nepali Media. During his tenure at the United Nations, Acharya was the chairperson of the UN's anti-apartheid committee.[6]
