Jefferson R. Moss (born July 4, 1976) is an American entrepreneur and politician who served in the Utah House of Representatives, representing the 51st district.[1][2] He served as the majority leader in the House, a position he assumed on November 15, 2023 when his predecessor in that office, Mike Schultz became the House Speaker.[3] He previously served as majority whip, also succeeding Schultz.[4]
Moss is a native of Orem, Utah. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Brigham Young University and a Master of Business Administration in entrepreneurship and finance from the Marriott School of Business at BYU.[5]
