Jenny Yang (comedian)

Jenny Yang is an American comedian, writer and actor from Los Angeles.
In 2020, Yang was selected as one of Variety's “10 Comics To Watch”[1] and Vulture's "Comedians You Should and Will Know in 2020".[2]
Yang was born in Taiwan and raised in the South Bay of Los Angeles.[3] Yang graduated with a bachelor's degree in political science at Swarthmore College and was a PPIA Fellow for a Master's in urban planning at University of California, Los Angeles.[4] Before entering comedy, Yang worked for the Service Employees International Union, becoming a director before leaving due to poor work-life balance, getting into standup to "get some of my sanity back".[5]
