Jeremiah Pote

Jeremiah Pote was a leading merchant[1] of Falmouth, Massachusetts (present-day Eastport, Maine) who owned a "hugely profitable shipyard"[2] and several mills[3] rising to prominence during the American Revolution where he was jailed multiple times.[4] He was originally from Marblehead, Massachusetts.[5]
