Jesús Pérez Varela (Galician: Xesús Pérez Varela; 19 April 1949 – 16 January 2025) was a Spanish politician. A member of the People's Party of Galicia, he served as Minister of Culture and Social Communication of Galicia from 1997 to 2005 and was a member of the region's parliament from 1997 to 2001.[1]
Pérez died of cancer in Santiago de Compostela, on 16 January 2025, at the age of 75.[2]
