Jharkil is a village and one of the 45 Union Councils (administrative subdivisions) of Khushab District in the Punjab Province of Pakistan.^[1] It is located at 31°48'0N 71°49'60E^[2] and located 13 kilometers toward south from Noorpur Thal city.

Jharkil consists of several small villages, including Jharkil, Meikin, Jara, Nawan Saggu, Katimar, Sidha and Nikro Shaheed. Saggu, Jara, Khara, Chuhan, Aura, Bhutto, Harral, Balooch, Lohaar, Ghahi and Dhoda are major castes in the Union.^{[citation needed]}
