James Robert Boyle (born July 27, 1961) is an American former professional football player who was an offensive tackle for two seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL). Boyle was selected by the Miami Dolphins in the ninth round of the 1984 NFL draft after playing college football for the Tulane Green Wave.[1][2]
James Robert Boyle was born on July 27, 1961, in Cincinnati, Ohio.[3] He played high school football at Western Hills High School in Cincinnati.[3]
Boyle was a member of the Green Wave of Tulane University from 1980 to 1983 and a three-year letterman from 1981 to 1983.[3] He earned Associated Press first-team All-South Independent honors in 1982.[4]
