James Alfred Norton (November 18, 1942 – January 12, 2021) was an American professional football defensive lineman in the National Football League (NFL) for the San Francisco 49ers, Atlanta Falcons, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, and New York Giants. He played college football at the University of Washington and was selected in the third round of the 1965 NFL draft.[1]
Norton died on January 12, 2021, of brain cancer and chronic traumatic encephalopathy.[2]
