James Richard Journell (born December 29, 1977) is an American former Major League Baseball pitcher who played for the St. Louis Cardinals in 2003 and 2005.
Journell was born in Springfield, Ohio. He graduated from North High School and attended the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign.[1] In 1998, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Cotuit Kettleers of the Cape Cod Baseball League.[2]
