Jimmy McClearn

Jimmy McClearn is an Irish politician.

A native of Killimor in County Galway, McClern is a member of Fine Gael.^[1] McClearn served on the county council from 1991 to 2004, and again from 2009, for the Loughrea area.^{[citation needed]} He was selected, ahead of Sinn Féin's Dermot Connolly, for the position of cathaoirleach of Galway County Council in January 2010.^[2] He was elected to the role of cathaoirleach for a second time for the period 2019 to 2020.^[1]
