Joana Várzea Aguiar (born August 12, 1998) is a Portuguese actress.[1] She is best known for her role as Sandra Pereira in the SIC soap opera Amor Amor (2021–2022).

She made her acting debut in 2014, replacing her twin sister, Inês Aguiar, who was ill, in the role of her sister, Carlota Vaz, in the SIC soap opera, Mar Salgado.[2] Later, in 2015, she landed a role at the end of the same telenovela as Carlota's long-lost sister, Cláudia.[3]

In 2016, she debuted on TVI, with a special appearance in the soap opera A Única Mulher, in the role of Filipa.[3] In 2019, she returned to SIC, joining the cast of the soap opera Nazaré in the role of Érica Blanco.[4] In 2020 she was chosen to be one of the protagonists of the SIC soap opera, Amor Amor, which would premiere in 2021,[5] portraying Sandra Pereira.[6] In 2021, she debuted as a presenter on the May 29th episode of the SIC program Estamos em Casa.
