Emery joined Sheffield Wednesday from Charlton Athletic.[3] He signed his first professional contract with the club on 2 July 2025.[4][5] He made his debut on the 13 August 2025 in the EFL Cup against Bolton Wanderers, starting the match before being replaced by Max Lowe on the 69 minute after picking up cramp - the game finished 3–3, with the young Owls side going on to win on peanlties.[6][7] In September 2025, he made his first Championship squad against Queens Park Rangers, but remained an unused substitute.[8] On 24 January 2026, Emery made his Championship debut, coming off the bench for Reece Johnson against Bristol City.[9]
