John Allen-Petrie

Born in Canada, he attended Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf at Montreal, then Sciences Po in Paris, before pursuing further studies at LSE (MSc) and Oriel College, Oxford (MSc).^[3]

An analyst with the Bank of England from 2008 until 2015,^[4] Allen-Petrie joined the College of Arms as Rouge Croix Pursuivant in 2013,^[5][6] being promoted Windsor Herald of Arms in Ordinary in 2019.^[7]

A Liveryman of the Drapers' Company,^[8] he was elected a Common Councilman for Billingsgate Ward (2018–22).^[9]
