John Bevere

John Bevere (born June 2, 1959) is an American televangelist, evangelical Bible school teacher, and author.[1][2][3]

Personal life
Bevere worked in Orlando, Florida, during the 1980s and 1990s under the controversial charismatic leader Benny Hinn, first as a youth pastor and later as Hinn's personal assistant.[4]
Views
On April 10, 2026 Bevere claimed the Antichrist is currently alive.[7] He believes in the rapture.[8]
Career
Bevere is a Bible teacher at the international school of ministry. Bevere cofounded Messenger International with his wife Lisa Bevere.[9] He has written 28 books.
On April 11, 2026, Bevere gave an interview at CBN on his book The King is Coming.[10]
Bevere’s teaching reflects a premillennial[citation needed] evangelical understanding of the Second Coming, emphasizing the future return and reign of Christ.
Criticism
Bevere's critics such as Robin A. Brace[citation needed], accuse him of legalism, elements of the prosperity gospel, and proximity to the charismatic movement. They also argue that he does not sufficiently distance himself from his controversial former boss, Benny Hinn.[11]
