John Pickard (writer)

John Pickard (1910–1995) was an Australian actor and writer who moved to the US in 1935 and enjoyed considerable success writing for radio in America.[1]
Pickard broke into Australian radio as an actor and writer while still in his teens.[2] He appeared in the film The Silence of Dean Maitland but was mostly a radio actor and writer.[3] In America he often worked in collaboration with Frank Provo.[4]
In 1969 they joined the faculty of Simon's Rock College and taught dramatic writing.[5]
