John W. Sweeny Jr. (May 29, 1949 – October 25, 2025) was an American judge who was an Associate Justice of the New York Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, First Judicial Department.[1]
Sweeny was a 1971 graduate of University of Notre Dame. He received his JD from Fordham University School of Law in 1974.
