Jon Maguire

Jon "MAGS" Maguire is a Welsh songwriter and record producer.^[1] He has appeared on over twenty UK top 40 records,^[2] including four number one albums.^[3][4][5] He is best known for writing "You Are The Reason" with Calum Scott,^[6][7][8][9] "Brother" with Kodaline and "Whistle" with Jax Jones.^[1] Jon has written and produced for artists including Kodaline,^[10][11] Scouting For Girls,^[12] Christina Perri,^[13] Calum Scott, You Me At Six, Tiesto,^[14] Sam Feldt,^[15] Leona Lewis, Rita Ora,^[16] Jax Jones,^[17] Tom Chaplin,^[18] The Vamps,^[19][20]Lost Frequencies, Aloe Blacc and Armin van Buuren.^[21][22]

In November 2022 Simon Cowell announced on Facebook and Maguire announced on Instagram that Cowell had acquired a catalogue of his songs that included You Are The Reason.^{[23] [24]}
