Jones Valley, California

Jones Valley first appeared as a census designated place in the 2020 U.S. census.^[20]

As of the 2020 census, Jones Valley had a population of 1,160. The median age was 46.9 years. 19.4% of residents were under the age of 18 and 22.6% of residents were 65 years of age or older. For every 100 females there were 101.4 males, and for every 100 females age 18 and over there were 103.7 males age 18 and over.^[21][22]

0.0% of residents lived in urban areas, while 100.0% lived in rural areas.^[23]

There were 453 households in Jones Valley, of which 20.3% had children under the age of 18 living in them. Of all households, 48.8% were married-couple households, 23.6% were households with a male householder and no spouse or partner present, and 18.5% were households with a female householder and no spouse or partner present. About 28.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 13.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.^[21]

There were 503 housing units, of which 9.9% were vacant. The homeowner vacancy rate was 2.4% and the rental vacancy rate was 3.5%.^[21]
