Josefina Capote (born 12 October 1961) is a Cuban former volleyball player. Capote competed in the women's tournament at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow.[1] She helped the Cuban team win gold medals at the 1979 Pan American Games in Caguas and the 1983 Pan American Games in Caracas, and the silver medal at the 1986 FIVB World Championship in Czechoslovakia.[2] She was the captain of the Cuban team from 1980 until her retirement.[3]
