Josephine Webb (artist)

Josephine Webb was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland.[1] From a young age, she showed a talent and passion for art. She attended Alexandra College [2] and the Queen’s Institute on Molesworth Street in Dublin; she won two silver medals there for drawing. In 1878, she studied at the Académie Julian in Paris. Louise Breslau, a Swiss painter and Anna Nordgren, a Swedish painter, were fellow students.[3]
