José Eduardo Cardozo (born 18 April 1959) is a Brazilian lawyer, politician, professor, and former Attorney General of Brazil who served as Minister of Justice from 2011 to 2016.[1]

He ran unsuccessfully for the presidency of the Brazilian Workers' Party in 2009, finishing second behind José Eduardo Dutra. He taught at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo.[2] He is a São Paulo FC fan.[3]
