Joy Newman

Joy Ernestine Newman (born 17 November 1945) is a British former diver who competed at the 1964 Summer Olympics.[1].

Biography
Newman represented the England team[2] at the 1962 British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Perth, Australia.[3] She competed in the 10 metres platformy event.[4]
At the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo, she participated in the platform event.[5]
Two years later she returned to compete in the Commonwealth Games and this time won the gold medal at the 1966 British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Kingston, Jamaica.[6]
